<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable bathtub of a balloon type which can be deflated when not in use, can be carried with ease, reliably and safely slides a person to be cared laterally from a bed to a bathtub, and enables a single caretaker to perform home-visit bathing care. <P>SOLUTION: The foldable bathtub includes a bathtub body 2 formed of a flexible water-impermeable sheet and an airlift 10. The bathtub body 2 has an undulated wall 2c of a balloon which raises a peripheral wall 2b, while the airlift 10 is equipped with an inflation control implement 16 which equalizes inflation states of a lift body 11 and each part of the balloon. The airlift 10 thus constituted is removably inserted in a lift storing chamber which is formed under a bottom wall 2a and opens in one end. The bottom wall 2a is raised to the upper opening of the bathtub body 2 by the airlift 10 so as to laterally slide the person to be cared on the bed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
