To provide a timepiece faceplate presenting a furred appearance that has been impossible to achieve in the past, and to provide a timepiece provided with the timepiece faceplate. A timepiece faceplate 1 of the invention comprises a plate-shaped member 11 provided on one surface 111 with a ridge 113 having a function for reflecting and scattering incident light, the plate-shaped member 11 made of a material having optical transmission properties; and a layer 12 in which numerous powder particles 121 having a function for reflecting light are dispersed on a surface 112 opposite from the surface 111 on which the ridge 113 of the plate-shaped member 11 is provided. The plate-shaped member 11 and the layer 12 of the timepiece faceplate 1 are superimposed when viewed from above.
