PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a cover glass for display apparatus is provided to give desired shock resistance after chemical strengthening to a glass plate by washing using liquid. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a cover glass(30) for display apparatus(10) comprises the following steps: processing as predetermined shape of glass plate on small plate of the glass for display apparatus; washing the glass plate; and chemical strengthening on the washed glass plate. The washing process uses liquid in order not to touch brush with at least one part of the glass plate. In the washing process, ultrasonic wave is applied as the glass plate is dipped in wash liquid. The washing process exposes the glass plate to high pressure washing liquid.
