PURPOSE: A lifting unit of a stud welding machine is provided to separate a stud being in contact with a base material by pulling a fixed object clamped by a clutch module. CONSTITUTION: A lifting unit of a stud welding machine comprises a housing(100), an advancing and retracting drive unit(200), a clutch module(300), and a support module(400). The advancing and retracting drive unit is embedded in the housing. The clutch module is retracted by the advancing and retracting drive unit and clamps a fixed object(500) by the initial retraction. The support module provides a retraction space(S) for the final retraction of the clutch module by the advancing and retracting drive unit and includes an inner support(420) for limiting a retraction range.
