<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump clothes dryer of type that can shorten the time from the end of drying operation until laundry is allowed to be taken out. <P>SOLUTION: On a ventilation flue 19 of an air circulation device 20 for circulating air in an outer tub 2 (drying chamber) through the ventilation flue 19 provided outside of the outer tub 2 to bring it back to the outer tub 2, a heat exchanger 33, which cools down air passing through the ventilation flue 19 with cooling water supplied, is provided. The supply of cooling water to the heat exchanger 33 is carried out concurrently with the air circulation by the air circulation device 20 after a drying operation or during the drying operation, so as to shorten the time from the end of the drying operation until laundry is allowed to be taken out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
