<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightning detection device that can surely determine the generation of lightning and a lightning point by a simple, inexpensive and highly reliable structure. <P>SOLUTION: The lightning detection device A is characterized by comprising: receptors (lightning members) 8a to 8e which are arranged at a plurality of points of windmill blades 5a to 5c; lightning conductors 9a to 9e which extend from the receptors 8a to 8e, and lead lightning currents into the ground; optical fiber current sensors 15a to 15e which are arranged at the lightning conductors 9a to 9e, respectively, detect the lightning currents flowing in the lightning conductors 9a to 9e, and output optical signals; an optical signal conversion device which individually receives the optical signals that are output from the optical fiber current sensors 15a to 15e, convert the optical signals to respective inherent electrical signals, and output them; and a control device which recognizes kinds of the electrical signals that are input from the optical signal conversion device, determines the lightning point on the basis of the kinds, and notifies the point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
