<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video while reducing a possibility that a moving viewer may collide with an obstacle. <P>SOLUTION: A viewer detecting unit 102 detects, as a viewer, a person who is present in a region 204 a prescribed distance apart from a video display unit 101 and acquires coordinates of the viewer. A moving speed measuring unit 103 measures the moving speed of the viewer. A display region determining unit 104 determines a video display region 202 on the video display unit 101 based on the position of the viewer detected by the viewer detecting unit 102, and the moving speed of the viewer measured by the moving speed measuring unit 103. The display region determining unit 104 determines to display the video in a region where the viewer can turn the sight line to the moving direction while viewing the video. Alternatively, as the moving speed of the viewer is higher, the video is displayed at a position farther from the viewer so as to secure a time from when the viewer recognizes an obstacle till capable of sufficiently avoiding it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
