<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lead-free glass for sealing of semiconductor, which can seal a semiconductor element at low temperature and has excellent acid resistance, and an overcoat tube for sealing of semiconductor. <P>SOLUTION: The lead-free glass contains, as a glass composition, Si0 46-60%; Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>0-6%; B<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>13-30%; MgO 0-10%; CaO 0-10%; ZnO 0-20%; Li<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O 9-25%; Na<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O 0-15%; K<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O 0-7%; and TiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>0-8% by mole, wherein Li<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O/(Li<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O+Na<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O+K<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O) is in the range of 0.48-1.00 in terms of mole ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
