THREE-DIMENSIONAL MAP AUTOMATIC GENERATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate a three-dimensional map with an image processing technology by analyzing a video photographed by a camera to extract three-dimensional information.

SOLUTION: This three-dimensional map automatic generation device includes: a moving image acquisition device 1 configured to acquire the moving image of an object and a background by a camera placed on a vehicle or the like; a CV video generation device 2 configured to generate a CV video associated with each frame of the moving image by calculating a CV value indicating the three-dimensional position and triaxial rotary posture of a camera with respect to a static coordinate system fixed to the background and object of the moving image; an area division device 3 configured to extract an image frame from the CV video, and to divide the object and background in the image into a plurality of area division images; an in-frame small area feature point three-dimensionalization device 4 configured to calculate the three-dimensional coordinates of the plurality of feature points in the in-frame small areas of the CV video corresponding to the area division images; and a two or more area polygon generation device 5 configured to automatically generate a plurality of polygons by extracting the faces of the in-frame small areas from the three-dimensional coordinates of the plurality of feature points.
