<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device by which the water bottom ground can be excavated without making the water muddy and an injection material is injected so as to improve the water bottom ground. <P>SOLUTION: A ground improvement device for water bottom ground includes a hollow member 10 installed to extend from the ground in a water bottom 1 to a water surface 2, an air injection tube 11 that is installed to be adjacent to the outside surface of and along the length direction of the hollow member 10 and that injects compressed-air toward the water surface 2 within the hollow member 10, and an excavation unit with an excavation member 12 that is dropped to the ground through the inside of the hollow member 10 to excavate the ground while injecting an injection material so as to stir and mix the soil and the injection material. The excavation member 12 has projections that are also installed at the tip of a shaft body and the underside of a spiral blade, and the projecting tip part in the projections is provided with a chip having a tapered shape toward the rotation direction at the time of excavation and made from a material that wears out more easily than the projections. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
