<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make both compatible in traction performance, braking performance and turning performance in a high dimension. <P>SOLUTION: This racing kart tire 1 has an outer diameter of not more than 300 mm. In this tire 1, a tread portion 2 is formed with a plurality of blocks 5 divided by a plurality of longitudinal grooves 3 extending in the tire circumferential direction and a plurality of peripheral grooves 4 extending in the direction for crossing with the longitudinal grooves 3. Groove widths W1 and W2 of the longitudinal grooves 3 and the peripheral grooves 4 are 3-20 mm. The longitudinal grooves 3 include a center longitudinal groove 3A continuously extending in the tire circumferential direction on the tire equator C. The blocks 5 include a pair of center blocks 5A arranged on both sides of the center longitudinal groove 3A, a pair of shoulder blocks 5C arranged on the tread end 2e side, and a pair of middle blocks 5B arranged between the center blocks 5A and the shoulder blocks 5C. The surface area of a tread 5Bt of the middle blocks 5B is smaller than the surface area of a tread 5At of the center blocks 5A and the surface area of a tread 5Ct of the shoulder blocks 5C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
