<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplification circuit, an electronic apparatus and an amplification method that can reduce output consumption in signal amplification. <P>SOLUTION: The amplification circuit includes: n-stage amplifiers for receiving a high frequency signal and amplifying and outputting the high frequency signal; a control circuit for controlling the power consumption of the n-stage amplifiers; and a switching circuit for selecting an output from the n-stage amplifiers in response to the control. The electronic apparatus includes: an antenna; an amplification circuit having a plurality of amplifiers for amplifying and outputting a signal input via the antenna, a control circuit for controlling currents supplied to the plurality of amplifiers, respectively, and a switching circuit for switching the output of the plurality of amplifiers in response to the current control performed by the control circuit; and a demodulation circuit for demodulating the signal output from the amplification circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
