<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highlight portion with an appropriate gray scale, when an irradiation portion by an LED light source or the LED light source itself is present in a photographic scene. <P>SOLUTION: In an imaged image, brightness is detected on the basis of each division area obtained by dividing one screen into a plurality of screens, and a D range is determined based on the photometry result of the division photometry, and D range enlargement processing is performed according to the determined D range. The LED light source (white LED light source, monochrome LED light source) is detected from a through image (steps S12, S16). When the white LED light source is detected, the division areas are set in such a manner that the number of divisions of the division areas for division photometry is large, while when the monochrome LED light source is detected, the number of divisions is still larger as compared to the case of the white LED light source (steps S14, S20, S22). By this, it is configured that the size of the individual division area is set to fit to an LED light source having intense directivity, so that the division photometry value is not affected by another light source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
