<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which enables a person with impaired view etc. to get to know information obtained from an electronic device, in braille. <P>SOLUTION: A television body 1 receives a broadcast signal, selects a channel, displays a predetermined program, separates character data from the selected broadcast signal, modulates the character data, and transmits the modulated character data from a character data transmission part 152 to a remote controller 2. The remote controller 2 receives the character data transmitted from the television body 1, demodulates the character data, and thereafter converts the character data to braille data.
