<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack which does not require that a lead plate and a lead wire are preliminarily weld-connected together in a different process, and thus is free from labor of handling a lead plate with a lead wire. <P>SOLUTION: In the battery pack, electrodes of a plurality of unit cells 1, 2, 3 and 4 are weld-connected together by lead plates 5, and the unit cells 1, 2, 3 and 4 are housed in an outer covering 9 in a state where a lead wire 6 is weld-connected to part of at least one of lead plates 5.
