The present invention relates to a method for producing a C3 chlorinated hydrocarbon, the method being characterized in comprising a conversion step of reacting the chloropropane represented by Formula (1) with chlorine in the presence of anhydrous aluminum chloride, thereby converting the chloropropane to the chloropropane represented by Formula (2).
