<p>The general field of the invention is that of methods for displaying steps of a mission or of a flight plan of an aircraft on a screen of a viewing device. The different steps of the method are displayed on a first graphical window having a time scale or "timeline" (TL), the different steps being displayed next to the schedule corresponding to the accomplishment thereof. This window may be linked to a map view of the flight plan. It may have a "magnifier" function (L).</p>
