<p>Disclosed in the embodiments of the invention are a method, an apparatus and a system for an access point (AP) to manage a wireless repeater(s) by, which relate to the communication technical field, and can implement searching via a domain name and managing the repeater(s) controlled by the AP. The method comprises: receiving an Internet Protocol (IP) address request message containing the domain name(s) of the repeater(s) to be managed, wherein the message is sent by a management control station; parsing the domain name(s) of the repeater(s) to be managed from the IP address request message; obtaining the IP address(es) of the repeater(s) corresponding to the domain name(s) of the repeater(s) to be managed from a domain name management list, wherein the domain name management list records the corresponding relationship(s) of the IP address(es) of the repeater(s) and the domain name information of the repeater(s); transmitting the IP address(es) of the repeater(s) corresponding to the domain name(s) of the repeater(s) to be managed to the management control station. The invention is mainly used for an AP to manage a wireless repeater(s).</p> |
