The conveyor belt has a web upper side and a web lower side. A system of warp yarns (2) is interwoven with a system of bullet yarns (3), which is designed to carry a material web on the upper side of a fabric. A part of the yarns is made of a material, in which latent heat storage is introduced. An independent claim is also included for a method for drying a material web.
