The present invention refers to a physical-mechanical device for controlling speed in diesel-type units with electronic pedal, which regulates the cruising speed by means of the current acceleration pedal without modifying the inner components and primary function thereof, thus avoiding damages to said element. The purpose of the invention is to be a regulator located in the accelerator for avoiding speeds higher than those required in the specifications and improving the hydrocarbon burn and the consumption of fuel originated by the exact injection required by the motor without a fuel over feed while reducing the heating of the motor.
