PURPOSE: An impact absorbing device for a vehicle is provided to reduce damage to a vehicle by freely adjusting the width of a collision plate. CONSTITUTION: An impact absorbing device for a vehicle comprises a collision unit(A) and an impact absorbing unit(B). The collision unit comprises a bed(10), a collision member, and a main connection line(22). The bed supports the collision member and has wheels(12) on the bottom thereof. The collision member directly collides with a vehicle. The main connection line connects the collision member to the impact absorbing unit. The impact absorbing unit comprises an outlet pipe(40), a cylinder(46), an outlet guide pipe, and a piston fixing and connecting line(64). The cylinder is inclinedly connected to one side of the outlet pipe. The outlet guide pipe is installed in the top end of the cylinder. The piston fixing and connecting line is connected to the main connection line and is pulled by the vehicle colliding with the collision unit. |
