METHOD FOR ESTIMATING REMAINING TRAVEL DISTANCE OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for estimating a remaining travel distance of an electric vehicle that can easily and accurately estimate the remaining travel distance.

SOLUTION: A method for estimating a remaining travel distance of an electric vehicle according to the present invention includes steps for: inputting an initial value of the remaining travel distance and confirming an accumulated fuel efficiency right before charging; confirming a present accumulated fuel efficiency; and loading two or more remaining travel distance estimating functions that are previously set in accordance with the accumulated fuel efficiency and estimating the remaining travel distance for a battery SOC by selectively applying the remaining travel distance estimating functions, using the accumulated fuel efficiency right before charging and the present accumulated fuel efficiency.
