<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector capable of surely fixing a card in a housing without increasing the card connector's height and a substrate's occupied area. <P>SOLUTION: A card connector is provided with a lock mechanism for fixing a card A at a prescribed push-in position, and the lock mechanism is provided with a rotating piece 10 supported by the housing 1 to be rotatable and a lock pin 11 of which one end is pivotally supported by the rotating piece to be rotatable and that has an engaging part 14 at the other end for engaging with a slider 8 mutually. The rotating piece 10 has a resistance part 21 while a pivoting hole 13 in which the lock pin 11 is pivotally supported is installed at a position with a distance from a support shaft 10a of the rotating piece 10 so that the engaging part 14 engages with the slider 8 at a prescribed push-in position, causing the energizing force by a return spring 9 to be transferred to the rotating piece 10 through the lock pin 11, and enabling the rotating piece 10 to be energized in the direction in which the force of the resistance part 21 against the movement of the card in a coming-off direction is increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
