LIQUID-CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid-crystal display panel having a narrow frame width without causing failures in an array substrate and a counter substrate.

SOLUTION: The liquid-crystal display panel includes: an array substrate 1; a counter substrate 2; wall-shaped projections (projections 62); a seal material 51; and a liquid-crystal layer 3. The projections are provided in at least one of the array substrate 1 and the counter substrate 2 in the corresponding portions of a resin film at intervals at a circumference in a display region R1 and are formed at intervals in at least one of the array substrate 1 and the counter substrate 2. The seal material 51 is provided between the array substrate 1 and the counter substrate 2 and is located between the circumference in the display region R1 and the projections to join the array substrate 1 to the counter substrate 2.
