<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified carbon black for diene-based rubber reinforcement which has improved dispersibility by introducing a carbon-carbon double bond on a particle surface. <P>SOLUTION: A compound which has at least two groups shown by H<SB POS="POST">2</SB>C=CR- (wherein R denotes a hydrogen atom or a methyl group), in the molecule is made to react with carbon black by electron beam irradiation to the carbon black, thus obtaining a modified carbon black. Moreover, when a rubber composition is prepared, the modified carbon black is blended into a rubber component which consists of a diene-based rubber, and a vulcanizing agent is added into an obtained mixture and is mixed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
