Disclosed are a mobile terminal and an LCD control method therefor. When a human body detection module of the mobile terminal detects that a human body is approaching the mobile terminal, the human body detection module transfers such information to a reference square wave generating module of the mobile terminal, the reference square wave generating module converts the information, generates a changed frequency and inputs the changed frequency to a frequency detection module of the mobile terminal; when the frequency detection module detects that a change of the frequency reaches a threshold set by software of the mobile terminal, the frequency detection module generates an interrupt signal for a CPU of the mobile terminal, and the CPU controls an LCD backlight controlling module of the mobile terminal through a bus, so as to control an LCD screen. The technical solution of the present invention controls switching of the LCD of the mobile terminal more accurately without compromising the appearance of the mobile terminal. |
