The invention relates to a device for operating a plurality of containers (12) which are each fillable with a medium, comprising a plurality of container valves (16) for the connection in each case of one of the containers (12), and a filling channel arrangement (18) which is connectable or is connected at one end to a media pressure source (22) and is connected at the other end to the respective container valves (16). In order to simplify determination of the media pressure ("P_Cushion") in the individual containers (12) and, furthermore, to permit different filling speeds, according to one aspect of the invention, an emptying channel arrangement (20) is provided, the emptying channel arrangement being connected at one end to the container valves (16) and being connectable at the other end via an emptying channel valve (VA) to an unpressurized media hollow. Further aspects of the invention relate to the calculation of the media pressure ("P_Cushion") prevailing in one of the containers (12) using a mathematical model (M1, M2) and to the provision of a filling channel valve (VB) via which the filling channel arrangement (18) is connectable to the media pressure source (22) either directly or via a throttle (30) in order to permit different filling speeds. |
