A sound reproduction device is provided with a sound source data storage unit, a reproduction processing unit, a comparative tone sound volume adjusting operation unit, and an acoustic property information generation unit. The sound source data storage unit stores reference tone sound source data for reproducing a reference tone having a predetermined frequency range, and comparative tone sound source data for reproducing comparative tones having respectively different frequency ranges. The reproduction processing unit reproduces the reference tone and the comparative tones on the basis of the reference tone sound source data and the comparative tone sound source data stored in the sound source data storage unit. The comparative tone sound volume adjusting operation unit receives sound volume adjusting operations with respect to the comparative tones. The acoustic property information generation unit simultaneously outputs the reference tone and the comparative tones having sound volumes in accordance with the received sound volume adjusting operations, and records the results of the sound volume adjusting operations in association with the reproduced comparative tones.
