<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert points issued by a plurality of issuers into electronic money available in department stores different from the issuers. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic money management device receives a registration request containing information specifying an identifier and the amount of electronic money and adds the amount to the reminder of a record identified from the identifier of the electronic money. When an update request containing information specifying the identifier and the amount of electronic money is received, in the case where the reminder of electronic money is more than that amount, the amount is subtracted from the reminder of electronic money. On the basis of registration data provided from a point issuer, the registration request is received only from a department store which is an issue source of electronic money and when utilizing electronic money in the issue source department store or a cooperation department store that is a cooperation destination of the issue source department store, an update request from the department store is received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
