<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow failure of a current sensor to be easily detected, and to prevent production cost from rising. <P>SOLUTION: An MG-ECU executes a program that includes: a step (S102) which measures maximum values and minimum values of a current Iv and a current Iw when detected values Iv1 and Iv2 of two current sensors for detecting the current Iv coincide with each other (YES in S100); a step (S104) which calculates amplitudes of the current Iv and the current Iw; a step (S110) which determines that first to third current sensors are in a normal condition when the amplitude of the current Iv and the amplitude of the current Iw coincide with each other (YES in S108); and a step (S112) which determines that the current sensor for detecting the current Iw is in an abnormal condition when the amplitude of the current Iv and the amplitude of the current Iw do not coincide with each other (NO in S108). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
