REMAINING MILEAGE ADAPTATION TYPE INITIAL VALUE SETTING DEVICE AND METHOD OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide remaining mileage adaptation type initial-value setting device and method of an electric vehicle, which are capable of providing information of more accurate remaining mileage until an end after an operation start in the electric vehicle predicting the remaining mileage that can be traveled by the residual capacity of a current battery.

SOLUTION: The remaining mileage adaptation type initial value setting device includes: a learnt fuel cost computer immediately before charging; a cumulative fuel cost computer during current travel; a cumulative fuel cost-measuring part which relatively combines a ratio of learnt fuel cost immediately before the charging and a reflection ratio between the cumulative fuel costs during the current travel while using a charge amount (SOC) of the battery as a reference; and a cumulative fuel cost output part outputting the cumulative fuel cost measured by the cumulative fuel cost-measuring part for computing the remaining mileage.
