<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display in which utilization efficiency of light emitted from a light source may be improved. <P>SOLUTION: A display 2C comprises an optical path changing panel 12ca and a diffraction grating panel 13c. The optical path changing panel 12ca includes prisms 20 corresponding to respective color light beams for displaying one display pixel, is disposed between a light source 11c and the diffraction grating panel 13c, and changes proceeding directions of the respective color light beams (light L1) emitted from the light source 11c by the prisms 20, so that the respective light beams (light L2) may obliquely enter diffraction grating faces F3 of respective diffraction gratings 30. The respective prisms 20 provided correspondingly to the respective color light beams for displaying one display pixel are formed to have optical characteristics different from one another so that the respective color light beams may enter the diffraction grating faces F3 at the same incident angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
