<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter which can reduce consumption (necessary amount) of a spacer (adhesive) and also reduce structural pressure loss and wind passing resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In the filter 11, a filter base material 12 is folded in such a manner that the flat portions 12a stand in a row like a folding screen, intervals between the flat portions 12a are secured by spacers 13, and the flat portions 12a are fixedly connected to each other by the spacers 13.
