<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a character training device which enables a user to accurately write a character while strongly impressing the user with an image of the character. <P>SOLUTION: The character training device comprises: confirming means for showing model characters and confirming whether a character in a character input unit is written correctly or not; and moving means for showing stroke orders. When the user inputs handwriting emulating the model character and depresses a button to confirm whether he/she has accurately written the character or not, the handwriting is overlapped with the model character for comparison, and advice is displayed at error-prone parts of the model character so that the user immediately realizes his/her error. Furthermore, the stroke order of the model character is displayed in colors, and the moving means is provided which indicates movement to a next stroke if the next stroke is within a prescribed distance; thus, the user can surely learn the stroke order as well. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
