<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply voltage detection circuit that is minimally affected in voltage detection level by temperature change, has a small circuit scale and has high operation efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A power supply voltage detection circuit of the present invention comprises a switching element for conducting on/off control of signal output of a compensation circuit and a signal circuit. The compensation circuit includes: a first resistor and a second resistor connected to each other at first ends through an input voltage terminal; a first transistor having a collector connected to a second end of the first resistor, an emitter grounded and a base connected to the collector; a second transistor having a collector connected to a second end of the second resistor, a base connected to the base of the first transistor and an emitter connected to a first end of a third resistor, the emitter having an area in a prescribed proportion to an area of the emitter of the first transistor; and the third resistor having the first end connected to the emitter of the second transistor and a second end grounded, and having a resistance value with a positive temperature coefficient for appropriate voltage drop occurring on the first resistor and the second resistor when the switching element is switched. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
