<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which continuously suppresses condensation while securing safety of a cooling part. <P>SOLUTION: A display device includes a compressor-type cooler 30 having a condenser 33 adapted to condense a refrigerant by releasing heat, an evaporator 31 adapted to absorb heat and perform dehumidification by evaporating the refrigerant, and a compressor 32 adapted to draw vapor generated from the evaporator 31 and increase a pressure until the vapor is condensed, and stops the compressor 32 at a temperature equal to or lower than a first predetermined temperature. The display device further includes a temperature sensor for monitoring a temperature of the evaporator 31 and a backlight 13, and increases a level of the backlight 13 when the evaporator 31 becomes equal to or lower than a second predetermined temperature which is higher than the first predetermined temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
