<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hermetically close through holes formed in a wall part of a convection part exposing both end parts of a connecting shaft to the outside by metallic bellows, and protecting the metallic bellows from deposit from the outside by a nonmetallic cover. <P>SOLUTION: This shielding device 8 hermetically closes the through holes 13 of the convection part 5 exposing both end parts of the connecting shaft 6 to the outside. A waste heat recovery pipe 7 recovering waste heat of smelting exhaust gas which is exhausted from a non-ferrous metal smelting furnace 2 is mounted on the connection shaft 6. The shielding device includes: the metallic bellows 22 disposed to cover the connecting shaft 6, having one end mounted on the wall part 9 of the convection part 5 and the other end mounted on the externally exposed portion of the connecting shaft 6; and the non-metallic cover 34 disposed to cover the metallic bellows 22, and having one end mounted on the wall part 9 of the convection part 5 and the other end mounted on the externally exposed portion of the connecting shaft 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
