<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of appropriately and easily setting an injection period for sub-nozzles of an air injection loom, the period capable of stabilizing weft insertion while reducing an air injection volume. <P>SOLUTION: A method for setting an injection period for sub-nozzles of an air injection loop, the sub-nozzles having a plurality of groups formed by dividing many sub-nozzles into a group of sub-nozzles connected to each electromagnetic on-off valve, comprises: dividing the plurality of groups into groups including the two or more groups on downstream/upstream sides and groups including the other groups on a midstream side; determining a reduction aspect of an injection period when a predetermined period is set to one unit, for each group of the groups on the midstream side and the upstream side; determining a plurality of injection amount reduction patterns (hereinafter referred to as a pattern)including the reduction aspects of the injection periods for all the groups; previously storing the patterns and enabling selection of any pattern; and correcting an injection ending time of the injection period when an operator selects any pattern in order to set the injection period of each sub-nozzle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
