<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw fabric splicing device which can efficiently connect preceding old raw fabric to subsequent new raw fabric, and moreover can coincide a registration mark of the old raw fabric with one of the new raw fabric for connection. <P>SOLUTION: This raw fabric splicing device includes: a table 10 provided with a connection position S which gets a rear edge 1a of stopped old raw fabric 1 butted against a front edge of stopped new raw fabric 2; a sensor 31 for detecting a registration mark of a rear edge of the stopped old raw fabric 1 and a registration mark of a front edge of the new raw fabric 2; a raw fabric cutter 30 which is disposed between a conveyor 20 and the table 10, cuts the stopped old raw fabric 1 at a location of the registration mark of the rear edge of the stopped old raw fabric 1, and cuts the new raw fabric 2 at a location of the registration mark of the front edge of the new raw fabric 2; a chucking means 61 for chucking an unattached face of a connection tape 3; and an actuator 50 for moving the chucking means 61 for attaching an attachment face of the connection tape 3 to an upper face of both the edges of the new and stopped old raw fabrics 2 and 1 which get butted against each other on the connection position S of the table 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
