<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely stop an elevating body when ascending/descending of the elevating body is stopped. <P>SOLUTION: An elevating-body falling prevention device includes: a fixed locking tool 5; a movable locking tool 6 having a locking piece 17; and a driving device 8 for forwardly/backwardly moving the movable locking tool. The fixed locking tool has two or more receiving teeth 20 formed vertically spaced-apart at intervals. The locking piece has two or more locking teeth 21 formed vertically spaced-apart at intervals. The locking piece is ascendably/descendably provided on a holding tool of the movable locking tool so that the locking teeth of the locking piece face the receiving teeth of the fixed locking tool. The receiving teeth have a saw-tooth shape that is sharp-pointed to the locking-teeth side such that each upper surface is in a horizontal state and each bottom surface is downwardly inclined from the tip side to the root side. The locking teeth have a saw-tooth shape that is sharp-pointed to the receiving-teeth side such that each bottom surface is in a horizontal state and each upper surface has a downward slope from the root side to the tip side. If the movable locking tool is pushed to the fixed-locking-tool side by the driving device when ascending/descending of an elevating body is stopped, both of the locking teeth and the receiving teeth are engaged with each other, the locking teeth of the locking piece are forcibly pushed down by the receiving teeth, and the lower horizontal surfaces of the locking teeth are pressed against the upper horizontal surfaces of the receiving teeth, thereby preventing falling of the elevating body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
