<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric flow control valve rotating or axially moving a pilot valve body 3 by the drive of a stepping motor 7, carrying out small flow quantity control of the small flow quantity control range by the pilot valve body 3, and carrying out flow quantity control of a large flow quantity control range by a main valve body 2 in which durability is enhanced and stable flow quantity control is carried out by preventing the main valve body 2 from rotating under the influence of the rotation of the pilot valve body 3 during the large flow quantity control range. <P>SOLUTION: A plate member 4 comprising thrust washers (41, 42) which are stacked doubly is interposed between an E-shape stop ring 34 below the pilot valve body 3 and a spring receiving part 2B of the main valve body 2.
