Proposed are stereo image processing apparatus and method that may generate a correction pattern for stereo matching by analyzing in real time at least one of the stability of a stereo image, the number of feature points included in a camera image, and an illumination condition and emit the correction pattern toward a subject as a feedback value. According to exemplary embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to improve the stability and accuracy of the stereo image.
