The invention relates to a food cooking appliance comprising: a container (2) having a side wall (2B); and a blade (3), said container (2) and blade (3) being designed to have a relative rotary movement about an axis of rotation. The blade (3) includes a lifting means (3A) shaped so as to lift the food with which it comes into contact, and a means (11) for pushing the food toward the lifting means (3A). The appliance is characterised in that: the aforementioned side wall (2B) includes a widened section (20), the lifting means (3A) extends directly vertically above the widened section, and the respective projections of the lifting means (3A) and of the widened section (20) overlap in a single plane parallel to the axis of rotation. The invention can be used in the field of cooking appliances. |
