<p>A naked-eye stereoscopic display device comprises: a display panel which displays an image by light beams discharged from a plurality of color pixels; and a disparity division unit which is positioned opposite the display face of the display panel. Color pixels of different colors are periodically arrayed horizontally, and color pixels of the same color are arrayed vertically, in the display panel. In order that different images may be viewed from an observer's right-eye and left-eye positions aligned in the horizontal direction, the disparity division unit divides the color pixel region of the display panel into a right-eye color pixel region (RG) which the right-eye line of sight reaches and the left-eye line of sight does not reach, and a left-eye color pixel region (LG) which the left-eye line of sight reaches and the right-eye line of sight does not reach. Color pixels (BG) wherein the light beams are not discharged are aligned on the boundary between the right-eye color pixel region (RG) and the left-eye color pixel region (LG). The direction in which the color pixels (BG) wherein the light beams are not discharged are aligned is obliquely inclined.</p> |
