The method involves connecting firmly and cohesively a seat lining (5), a seat diaphragm and/or a seat cover (4) with one another under formation of a transition region (9). A recess is arranged in a seat cushion (3) and formed corresponding to the transition region such that the transition region is embedded into the recess. A web region is formed at the seat lining and hung up corresponding to a molded receiving element at the seat cover. The web region completely rotates the seat lining and/or the seat diaphragm at an upper end pointing towards the seat cover. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle seat comprising a seat cover, a seat lining and/or a seat diaphragm.
