<p>Embodiments of a tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding torch with an improved air cooled handle are provided. The welding torch includes a body (54), a cable assembly (56-60), and a torch head (40), with a handle (38) placed over the body (54) and the cable assembly (56 -60). The handle (38) may feature a curved end designed to fit near the torch head (40) without contacting the torch head (40), providing a closer gripping point to allow greater control of the torch. In addition, the handle (38) is spaced from the body (54) and the cable assembly (56-60) to form an air space within the handle (38) through which air may flow to cool the handle (38).</p> |
