<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translation display device which arranges and displays a translation character string, corresponding to a character string of a first language included in a document image and translated into a second language, between lines right below the character string of the first language, the translation display device being convenient in contrasting and viewing the original character string and translation character string and improving visibility of the translation character string. <P>SOLUTION: When a translation display device 100 receives an instruction to enlarge and display a part of an image representing a document with a translation displayed on a display 1 from instruction input means 6, partially enlarged image generation means 12 generates a partially enlarged image by enlarging the part of the image representing the document with the translation. The image generation means 12 controlled by control means 7 generates an image with a partial enlargement by superposing the partially enlarged image generated by the partially enlarged image generation means 12 over the image representing the document with the translation, and a display 1 controlled by the control means 7 displays the image with the partial enlargement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
