<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar battery cell and a solar battery module that have improved photoelectric conversion efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A solar battery cell 10 includes a rectangular photoelectric conversion section 20, a planar transparent conductive film 25a and an electrode 21a. The transparent conductive film 25a is disposed so as to cover a region of one main surface 20a of the photoelectric conversion section 20 excluding edge portions. The electrode 21a is disposed on the transparent conductive film 25a. The electrode 21a includes a plurality of finger electrode portions 31. Each of the plurality of finger electrode portions 31 extends in a first direction x. The plurality of finger electrode portions 31 are arranged in a second direction y perpendicular to the first direction x.
