<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric conversion module that reconciles sufficient oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance and sufficient thermoelectric conversion efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The thermoelectric conversion module includes a thermoelectric conversion element 1, and a container 2 hermetically sealing in the thermoelectric conversion element 1. The thermoelectric conversion module further includes a first thermally conductive insulator 3 inserted between one end of the thermoelectric conversion element 1 and an inner surface of a ceiling 21 of the container 2, and a second thermally conductive insulator 4 inserted between the other end of the thermoelectric conversion element 1 and an inner surface of a bottom 22 of the container 2. The container 2 comprises a plate material at least at a sidewall 62 and ceiling 21, and the plate material has a thickness of 0.3 mm or greater. When the container 2 is heated to 400°C or higher and then returned to room temperature on the side of the ceiling 21, the shortest distance between the bottom 22 and the ceiling 21 becomes shorter than the distance between the periphery of the ceiling 21 and the bottom 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
