<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional method for frying an Okonomiyaki pancake in a general shop includes heating a griddle having a size large enough to fry a certain number of Okonomiyaki pancakes using a cooking gas burner, and frying the Okonomiyaki pancakes while turning them back using a metal spatula according to frying condition of Okonomiyaki batter on the griddle, but the conventional method takes a long time to fry one side of the Okonomiyaki pancake, and a method for frying both sides of the Okonomiyaki pancake simultaneously does not have a unit, and a succeeding order of Okonomiyaki pancake is suspended until an Okonomiyaki pancake fried on the griddle is made. <P>SOLUTION: In the unitized Okonomiyaki frying apparatus, a circular upper frying griddle having radial ribs on a batter contact surface to have a heat transmission area larger than that of a flat griddle is turned toward a circular lower frying griddle for frying Okonomiyaki batter, the Okonomiyaki batter is held between the griddles and fried from the upper and lower side simultaneously, the heat is appropriately and quickly transmitted to the inside of the batter owing to the heat transmission of the ribs, and tasty Okonomiyaki pancake is quickly fried. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
